Inclusive Traffic
All our bandwidth is measured using the industry standard 95th percentile method. This involves taking samples of the throughput once every 5 minutes, collecting all these samples over a 30 day period, sorting them in order and discarding the top 5%. The 95th percentile left is the figure used for charging.
This eliminates all the highest level spikes often seen in bandwidth graphs and is the fairest way for both ISP and customer to charge for bandwidth. By using this method, the customer benefits by getting the highest bandwidth usage for 37 hours each month free of charge!

We offer a high level of availability of at least 99.99% (SLA).
Real Time Reboot
All Co-Location customers servers will be plugged into a Reboot Switch, which the customer is then given access too, enabling them to hard reboot the server whenever they wish.
24/7/365 Monitoring
Your server will be added to our IP Monitor "watch list". The service checks connectivity and running services on your server. If one was to fail, our engineers would be alerted to the problem within 5 minutes. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
UPS
LRHosting has a sophisticated power distribution system for resilience. Multiple mains electricity feeds are supported by a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) system with generator backup.
All of our power back-up systems are individually maintained and checked on a routine basis. Redundant n+1 equipment provides spare capacity to enable maintenance and repairs without interruption to customer services.
24hr CCTV
Security of your equipment is paramount to us. We recognize the value of your IT systems, not only in terms of money but for your business continuity and maintaining your service to your customers.
Each site is manned 24/7 by an adequate establishment of trained Security / Operations staff to provide a deterrent to unauthorized access. CCTV, with digital data storage space, both internally and externally provides information to a security control centre on possible intrusion. Advanced proximity access control systems prevent unauthorised access to areas within.
Hardware Setup
A set fee will be charged for the setup of any hardware.
